Description

This is a Series 1963 A United States twenty-dollar Federal Reserve Note from Chicago, presented in a protective sleeve. Jackson’s classic small portrait anchors the face beside the black G Federal Reserve seal and green Treasury seal. District number 7 confirms the Chicago bank. Serial number G 11379384 A appears in green at the usual face positions, matching upper right and lower left.

Series 1963 A and the Granahan / Fowler signature combination place this note in the mid-1960s production window. The reverse shows the familiar White House vignette with In God We Trust and Twenty Dollars in traditional green engraving, the same long-running design collectors know from that era, with ornate circular 20s in the corners and leafy scroll borders framing the building.

In the photos you will see a circulated but intact note: visible fold lines across the paper, softly aged cream-toned stock, light wear at the edges and corners, and minor margin spotting consistent with age, without large tears or missing pieces. Seals, serials, and lettering remain clear through the sleeve. A companion-style Chicago Series 1963 A twenty for type sets, decades albums, or anyone building a small group of mid-century Jackson notes with readable identifiers.
