Description

A vintage Pyrex number 402 (1½ quart) mixing bowl in the Woodland pattern, also called Woodland Brown. White line drawings of flowers and leaves wrap the outside of a warm caramel-tan bowl, with a plain white interior.

Pyrex made Woodland from 1978 to 1983. The nesting mixing bowls came in two tones: the 401 (1½ pint) and 403 (2½ quart) in darker chocolate brown, and the 402 (1½ quart) and 404 (4 quart) in this lighter caramel tan. The model number and capacity are stamped on the bottom.

Opal glass, made in the USA. These bowls were sold as oven-, microwave-, and dishwasher-safe under the guidelines of the time. Hand washing is kinder to the pattern. Please see the photos for size and any wear to the finish.
